Graceful Spirit - Throw

Thanks for your interest in my latest design Graceful Spirit. I designed a lot of patterns for my last design Henna Spirit and these patterns were left over so I thought they’d make a beautiful blanket and here it is! Graceful Spirit uses US crochet terminology and is an overlay mosaic crochet pattern.

You can make any size blanket you wish, I’ve added the charts above the written patterns, so you know which pattern you are using, and the pattern is written out exactly as I created mine, so the repeats of the pattern are written out too. All the starting chains are below so enjoy! My testers photos and information on their test is at the end of the PDF. There’s also an extra PDF of the border with this download.

Graceful spirit is a 30+1 stitch repeat, so you repeat the pattern as many times as you wish and then only do the last stitch at the very end of the row. 1 repeat, chain 34, for a foundation row do 33 stitches. 2 repeats, chain 64, for a foundation row do 63 stitches. 3 repeats, chain 94, for a foundation row do 93 stitches. 4 repeats, chain 124, for a foundation row do 123 stitches. 5 repeats, chain 154 stitches, for a foundation row do 153 stitches. 6 repeats, chain 184, for a foundation row do 183 stitches.

I used Rico Baby Cotton Soft DK I love this yarn!!!, 50g skeins, I loved experimenting with the colours, and I
used 6 different colours!
Mauve, 3 skeins, 150g, total used 355m. Natural, 2 skeins, 100g, total used 250m. Plum, 4 skeins, 200g, total used 390m. Snow White, 4 skeins, 200g, total used 480m. Patina green, 2 skeins, 100g, total used 155m. Coconut, 2 skeins, 100g, total used 235m. TOTAL YARN USAGE FOR MAIN BLANKET 1,865m.
For the border I used Plum, 2 skeins, 290m. Patina Green, 2 skeins, 155m. Total yarn for the border, 445m.

With DK yarn and a size 4 hook, my blanket without the border measured 73cm/116cm 28.5inches/45.5inches. With the border my blanket measures 78cm/120cm 30.5 inches/47 inches.
